The Five Elements is the first in a series of books about the mythical land of Astrellion and its group of legendary heroes, known as The Astraxi, who are fulfilling an ancient oath to protect the land.
The untimely death of a brave warrior draws teenage misfit Nico into the Astraxi, and the re-emergence of their immortal foe Cyax, triggers a race to find and control the Five Weapons of Elemental Power, whose combined magic would make him invincible.
With Four Undead Kings, a ruthless Warrior Princess, and legions of Cyber-demons ranged against him, can Nico learn to harness his Dragon Lore in time to prevent Cyax unleashing a new era of Darkness and suffering upon the world?
Behind the Five Elements there is a rich back story going back 4000 years, which I hope to explore in other books. I have also written a screenplay for the Five Elements, so with a bit of luck it will make it to the silver screen.
The Five Elements is available in paperback and kindle formats in the Amazon marketplace:
This screenplay is aimed at a family audience and is loosely based upon the classic Chinese novel, "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms"
The Emperor is dead, and the scheming court officials have taken control of the country, raising taxes and instigating a rule of tyranny across the land. But in the county of Zhou, a young dragon - Liu Bei - has discovered his true ancestry. He is the rightful heir to the Golden Throne. Joining with two mighty warriors - Zhang Fei (Bear) and Guan Yu (Leopard) they begin what seems an impossible task to restore order and peace across the country.
They are joined by warrior princess Sun Ren and the fabulous wizard Zhuge Liang and have to overcome treachery and overwhelming odds to prevail.
Day by day the world is slipping deeper into chaos, but why? Events and people are being manipulated on a massive scale, but by whom and why? The world needs to reset or face destruction, it’s getting more crazy out there.

Tales from Arborea is an animated TV series aimed at 6 to 10-year-olds. It is set in a mythical land called Arborea, which resembles the druidic lands of ancient Britain and the Celtic peoples of Europe.
Ellie (Eilidh) and Gale are the two nine-year-olds that are the central characters of the series. They are imbued with a little magic that is reflected in their names, with Ellie having the warming power of the sun and Gale having the blustery power of the winds. They are a complementary pair who seek adventure in the land of Arborea and use their combined magical strengths to solve problems or mysteries in the forests around their home village.
Nature and the natural environment are the key themes that run throughout the episodes. The two adventurers are accompanied by different animals such as the fox and the stag and encounter magical beings such as the grumpy gnomes on their journeys through the forest.
In the magical land of Arborea there are guardian spirits for waterfalls, streams, trees, rocky crags and just about every feature of the woodland. Ellie and Gale interact with these beings and with the animals as they find ways to protect the forest from dark forces and enhance the environment for the good of all. The mischievous tree spirits, or dryads also seek to play tricks on the pair but are generally good natured and often come to their aid.
The Twelve Guardians is a series of animated screenplays for TV and cinema about a group of superheroes, with special powers that derive from their Oriental Star signs.
In China it is said that there are only twelve different types of people, and that their personalities are aligned with the creature that represents the year in which they were born: Dragon, Tiger, Monkey, Horse, Goat, Snake, Dog, Ox, Rat, Rabbit, Boar, and Rooster. The Twelve are tasked to protect their land from evil.
